The IT group at the MIT Sloan School of Management has for many years been widely recognized as the leading IT program in the world.¹ Our doctoral program has been in existence for over 40 years and is relatively small and selective, typically admitting less than 5% of applicants.

Most MIT Sloan graduates choose academic careers and many populate the faculty ranks of IT programs at other research universities including Wharton, Carnegie-Mellon, New York University, Michigan, UC/Irvine, Columbia and MIT Sloan.
